Wink Facial and Lash Bar of Scottsdale
If there is one thing in the world I LOVE, it’s fake eyelashes. There is little else (besides self-tanner) that will make such a difference to your look in a short period of time.
So you can imagine how excited I was to see this photo pop up in my News Feed on Facebook!
Wink Facial and Lash Bar is opening up in Scottsdale this summer- a mobile beautifying service that will come lash you out in your very own house. The adorable owner Layla Laney (pictured above) has a menu being developed of many, many different treatments, including (our favorite) semi-permanent lash extensions!
When people say, ‘She’s got everything’…
I’ve got one answer - I haven’t had tomorrow.

Spring Drinking in Old Town Scottsdale
This cool weather is perfect for dinner and drinks on a great patio. I suggest trying Scottsdale restaurant Olive and Ivy. A mix of elegant Mediterranean and California chic, Olive and Ivy has been listed as a favorite Scottsdale restaurant for years. The dining room and oversized patio have a very luxurious feel and the Marketplace has a specialty menu that you can pick up and carry out. With a very large selection of wines by the glass, I especially love lunching at Olive and Ivy; salad and a glass (or two) of white wine while enjoying the Scottsdale scenery.

Writing in Style: The Art of the Handwritten Note
Who isn’t obsessed with Facebook and Twitter? If it’s longer than 140-character these days, it seems that our society wants to have nothing to do with it. What happened to the romantic days of handwritten love letters? Or thank you notes? Even invitations for fancy soirees are now sent in the form of E-Vites or Paperless Post.
But there are benefits to picking up that pen and paper. Not only is it more special to those you are writing to, it really gives you a reason to slow down, think about your feelings and put your articulated, official communiqué on record.
